Job Description:

The principal responsibility of the Senior LiDAR Technician is to perform QA/QC of various digital, photogrammetric and GIS data using Microstation AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Photoshop Software. This position may be assigned to first or second shift and will require the following: Knowledge of LiDAR acquisition systems (hardware and software), knowledge of GeoCue, terrasolid projects and microstation, knowledge of Arc, LP360 a plus.

 Qualifications:

• Familiar with data processing for ABGPS/IMU, LiDAR, and digital imagery.
• Basic understanding of geodesy, surveying, and data transformations, LiDARclassification software, LiDAR flight planning, and personnel management.    
• Thorough understanding of QA/QC for LiDAR projects including Airborne POS/IMU solutions, LiDAR calibration, point classification.
• QC for project deliverables such as contours and DEMs.
• Experience with LiDAR editing/classification, POSMMS or POS PAC 4.4, breakline and planimetric creation, LiDAR project deliverables such as DEMs and Contour generation.
• Experience with LiDAR project planning a plus.

Job Requirements:

A BA or BS, preferably in photogrammetry, engineering, survey, math, geography or cartography, is preferred. AeroMetric will substitute a combination of training and work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
