Utility Data Contractors, Inc (UDC) is seeking an entry level, temporary GIS Technician to assist on their current projects. The temporary GIS Technician will perform a variety of duties, which include GIS data manipulation, GIS post processing, technical documentation, data correction, work order posting, and data entry.

The successful candidate will meet and/or exceed the following requirements:

• A minimum of a year of ESRI, ArcGIS Desktop
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to work independently 
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (including MS Access)
• Understanding of GIS (specifically AM/FM)
• Ability to follow specification documents and understand scope of the project
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Electric Utility knowledge a plus

This full time, temporary opportunity will begin the first week of September and end approximately at the end of the year.
