Required Qualifications: 

• 3+ years demonstrable experience with Javascript and jQuery
• 3 years with any server-side scripting language – PHP, Python, Ruby-On-Rails, etc.
• Proficiency with CSS, HTML, AJAX and XML
• Databases and CRUD (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Code versioning systems such as Subversion or Git

Desirable Skills: 

• Experience with Javascript mapping APIs – OpenLayers, GoogleMaps, etc.
• PHP and Model-View-Controller frameworks
• Developing/consuming REST web services
• Native mobile or mobile web development
• Working with MapServer or GeoServer
• Understanding of GIS concepts/terminology
• Agile development methodology
• Cloud API – Amazon, Azure, etc.
• Social Networking APIs
• Java development
