About the Business Line


We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.

Job Description

This person utilizes Geographic Information System techniques to provide a better understanding of certain variables in a given geographic location. Performs project or task management. Has understanding and experience in the application of GPS data collection and management techniques and use of ArcPad/Mobile and Trimble or related GPS products. Proven ability to extract data from GIS software and uses varying analysis methods to arrive at results. Recommends appropriate reactionary strategies in response to GIS analysis and provides maps and data sets to clients to supplement analysis. Creates and maintains computer generated maps, develops and maintains databases, and creates technical sketches. Uses GIS software, technology, and programming software. May develop websites with mapping components. Will require periodic travel for short or extended periods to job specific locations for GPS data collection and GIS mapping/data management functions.

Must have extensive experience (5-10+ years) working with ArcGIS and GIS databases, particularly with ArcGIS/ArcView 10.x (Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst), ArcGIS Server, ArcPad, ArcMobile, ERDAS Imagine, Trimble & Magellan GPS.

*GISP Certification preferred
