The Annual Meeting of the American Society for Photogrammetry & Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Western Great Lakes (WGL) region is coming up on Thursday evening February 6th at the Machine Shed in Lake Elmo, MN.  The meeting, which typically draws 30-40 participants, is open to everyone.

Featured speakers for the event include Erik Olson with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and Dr. Tom Mace who was most recently with the NASA Dryden Flight Research Center before moving to Wisconsin and starting his own consulting firm.  Mr. Olson will present his work on using remote sensing techniques to map avian flight tracks, while Dr. Mace will provide a history of NASA's airborne remote sensing systems.

Registration for the event costs for $30 for ASPRS members, $35 for non-members.
