The 18th annual Wisconsin Land Information Association annual conference will make a return visit to the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells on March 1-3, 2006. The conference theme of “navigating the data jungle” was not-so-coincidentally chosen to fit the “exotic” locale of the Kalahari.
The annual conference is typically attended by over 500 people from around the state, and features plenary speakers, technical sessions, educational workshops, plenty of time for networking, and oh yeah, a lot of fun too!
WLIA is currently seeking presenters for the conference, and invites anyone interested to submit a proposal electronically by October 7, 2005. Fred Halfen, WLIA President-elect, is Chair for the 2006 conference.
