Doug Avoles, a long-time member of Wisconsin’s land information and GIS community, recently left Applied Data Consultants in Eau Claire to join the Vernon County Land and Water Conservation Department. There he will serve the role of Planner, GIS Coordinator, and Land Information Officer.
Doug sees this as a move back to his roots drawing on his education in forestry and natural resource management from UW-Stevens Point, as well as his experience as a former Land Information Officer for Monroe County.
In addition to his new position, Doug will continue to serve as Co-chair of the Wisconsin Land Information Association’s Parcel Data Modeling Task Force. You can contact Doug at:
