We are looking for a GIS Analyst III to join our team and help provide geospatial solutions to our clients. The position is based out of our St. Paul, MN office and will support a variety of engineering and planning disciplines. The position will be responsible for project-level GIS support and involves data creation, management, analysis, visualization, and mentoring of other staff in our GIS practice. Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor degree in GIS, Geography, Planning, Engineering, or similar field of study with an emphasis on GIS.
  • Three (3) to six (6) years of professional experience with GIS and GPS technology.
  • Proficient in ArcGIS software. Ability to manage large data sets, perform spatial analysis, and create GIS deliverables such as maps and exhibits for reports, presentations, and plans.
  • Understanding of coordinate systems and their applications in GIS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Detail oriented with strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment while independently managing workload.
  • Must possess valid Class D Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work outside and lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with utility infrastructure, including sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and water distribution systems.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D, including interfacing with GIS.
  • Experience educating or training others in GIS.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise GIS technologies, including ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS for Server, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS apps
