Job Summary:
MAG Aerospace is hiring a GEOSPATIAL Engineer for Scott AFB. This position is Contingent until the contract is awarded, projected in November. The candidate will perform advanced technical geospatial work involving strategic-level critical thought and decision making.Other assignments will be:
- Perform a wide variety of miscellaneous geospatial information resource management activities.
- Work completely autonomously and supervise, lead, and mentor less experienced team members.
- Create strategic-level plans, presentations, or other similar products to guide geospatial activities.
- Establish visionary, strategic approaches and solutions to extremely complex technical and non-technical geospatial capability challenges.
Job Requirements:
Skills Required:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills as well as the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with government employees, other DoD contractors, etc.
Experience Required:
- Over 20 years of experience working with geospatial information and/or technologies.
- Expert geospatial education, training, skills, and abilities.
- Experience with GIS and CADD software including but not limited to ArcGIS Desktop, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server and other related Esri products, AutoCAD, Map3D.
- Knowledge of symbols and terminology used in civil, architectural and electronic drawings.
- Security Clearance Required: Active US Secret or higher.
Education Required:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in engineering, geography, geographic information systems, planning, architecture, computer science, or related fields.
