Job Summary:
Dairyland Power Cooperative has immediate opening for a GIS Intern – Learn about Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and assist with GIS Projects.
Job Duties:
- Work in a team environment to learn about GIS and assist with ongoing GIS projects.
- Duties to include maintaining and implementing functions pertaining to the GIS program under the direction of the GIS team.
Qualifications:
- Completed Junior year of a GIS qualified program OR completed certification from a qualified GIS program.
- Microsoft Office and ESRI suite of software required. ACAD experience preferred.
- Must have valid Driver’s License.
- Requires sitting, standing, walking, lifting (25 lbs.), and bending. Must be able to traverse rough terrain.
- Works primarily indoors, occasionally outdoors as directed.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Dairyland employees and member Cooperatives.
