Job Summary & Duties:
Compile and process land information required to produce real estate property assessment rolls, tax rolls and bills, development of countywide digital parcel maps and other related assessment/taxation documentation; process and update all recorded documents affecting land ownership, title and taxing status to produce Marinette County computerized Land
Records database.
Qualifications:
Level I Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent; one year experience in surveying, mapping, land title investigation and retracement or related field; insurance acceptable driver’s license.
Level II Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent plus college credits or additional coursework in mapping field; three years experience in land title investigation, retracement and public land survey or related field; preferred experience with Auto Card and/or GIS mapping software and knowledge of various database software, i.e. Borland Database, Excel, Access and SQL; insurance acceptable driver’s license and tested proficiency in Marinette County testing.
