Job Summary:
The Kendall Geographic Information System Department is seeking some qualified and enthusiastic applicants for the position of GIS Coordinator.
Duties:
The primary job responsibilities of the GIS Coordinator are to plan, direct and coordinate the field and office activities of the Kendall County Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Department. The GIS Coordinator is responsible for the overall
management of Enterprise GIS, ensuring the orderly and technically sound development and operation of the system and that the needs of the stakeholders and users of the Enterprise GIS are adequately met.
Qualifications:
This position requires a minimum of either a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or ten (10) or more years of increasingly responsible experience in the design, development, implementation, and administration of a geographical information system.
