A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A CADD TECHNICIAN

As a Survey CADD Technician, you are part of a team of geospatial analysts that process collected data from our land surveyors which deploy around the United States.  Using advanced technology software, you properly prepare geospatial data processing and final product deliverables.  While completing your project duties, you operate software packages including AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, ArcGIS, Trimble Business Center, and more.  Your work supports multiple types of contracts with federal, state, and local governments as well as the private industry.

In addition to working with state-of-the-art software systems, you frequently communicate with the survey groups on the ground to support the daily operations and quality control of data collection.  You will love that being a Survey CADD Technician is not a job, but a career of endless possibilities in both the geospatial and land survey industries.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years working CADD experience supporting land survey operations.
  • Associate or technical degree in computer drafting or design in engineering or related geospatial science preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship Required

This is a proficient-level position with basic understanding of survey terminology, process and procedures as well as experience with the preparation of survey plans using field survey data and other information.
