The GIS Solutions Manager will be responsible for managing development of tools to implement new custom features and improve the delivery and integration standard contract deliveries. They will work closely with key Mandli project personnel to ensure that all contract specifications and internal/external quality metrics are met or exceeded. This role will occasionally interface with customers regarding new feature requirements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Activities Linked to Company Operations
- Manages GIS Solutions Team to improve process and products used internally and externally
- Works with GIS Database Integrators to fulfill the delivery requirements and timelines
- Review data dictionary, functional designs and other required project documentation before processing begins
- Addresses customer feedback related to delivery by implementing process improvements
Activities Linked to Company Goals
- Key component to the overall success of service projects
- Helps ensure continuity for internal project processes
- Implements and monitors QC practices on all deliverable data to ensure that it will seamlessly enter the customer’s workflow
- Implements new features for first order review as they become available from integrated sensor libraries
Leadership and Organizational Support
- Internal resource for identifying and developing proof of concept improvements to our products and processes
- Coordinates with Training Department to fulfill customer training needs
- Works with all groups to provide custom GIS solutions for internal and external projects and products
- Other duties as assigned

Specialized Knowledge/Skills and Other Requirements
Required Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficiency in ArcGIS for desktop, ArcGISOnline, ArcPro, ESRI web tools and SQL DBA
- Ability to communicate clearly through writing and speech
- Ability to obtain an advanced understanding of Mandli programs within 3 months of start date
Education/Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required. Preferred fields of study include GIS, geosciences or STEM
- A Master’s degree or GISP certification preferred
- 2 years of management experience
Other Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test
