GIS Intern

Position Summary and Job Duties

This is a part time (15 hour/week) project internship opportunity (could be full time over the summer).  The primary tasks for the intern will be to update Building Footprint, Hydrology, Railroads, Airport and other data layers using the imagery flown in 2024 and LiDAR flown in 2020.

5% Create and Update Economic Development Maps

5% Other Duties as Assigned

Success Factors (KSA’s)

• Experience editing with ArcGIS Pro
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to solve problems
• Ability to be self-motivated

Job Requirements, Education, Training & Experience

•  Graduate or Undergraduate student
• Experience using ArcGIS Pro required

• Work involves walking, sitting, standing, bending, twisting, turning, carrying, pushing, pulling, grasping, reaching and driving.
• Lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.
