WPPI Energy is seeking a professional, organized, reliable individual to join our team as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst. In this role, you will be an important part of the distribution services team supporting WPPI member utilities in Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI)-based GIS. Responsibilities:

  • Perform field work collecting, manipulating, and analyzing geospatial data, including GPS data and field assets
  • Maintain GIS data utilizing ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Portal
  • Design, develop, and maintain maps and reports conveying results of spatial analyses.
  • Desire to expand knowledge of GIS, including but not limited to, Enterprise GIS and the Utility Network management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, environmental science, geography, or another related field
  • 0-5 years of related experience
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Starting Salary:

  • $60,000 – $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
