Jack Plasterer

Jack works at the Wisconsin State Cartographer’s Office (SCO), where he combines his love of maps with a background in GIS web development using Python, Java, and JavaScript. He’s created projects like an ArcGIS StoryMap on jet noise in Madison and is passionate about how mapping technology can make a difference in people’s lives. In addition to his interest in maps and programming, Jack is also passionate about history, international politics, and music. Outside of work, he enjoys biking, hiking, paddle boarding, sailing, skiing, playing chess, and meditating.
