DESCRIPTION
Calumet County is offering an excellent opportunity for a Planning/GIS Intern. We are looking for a student who is majoring in Urban Planning, Geography, or related program. This internship will assist the Planning Staff with research on the County pre-planning Smart Growth elements and the production of maps related to the planning program.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of planning principles and Wisconsin’s Smart Growth legislation is required. Experience with ArcView, AutoCad drafting, researching and reading legal documents, and engineering plans a plus. This position is full-time (37.5 hours per week) for up to six months.
