Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:
Makes updates to Physical 911 Mappings, G.I.S. Parcel Maps and other mapping as needed. Produces maps both from plotter and xerox machines, and assists the general public. Research information in survey, property listing, zoning, register of deeds and other departments in order to maintain and preserve documentation essential to the perpetuation of the Public Land Survey System.
Assists other Land Information Systems staff with duties that relate to property listing, tax deed, surveying, G.I.S. and land records.Set surveying equipment for data acquisition, performs observations and measurements, to obtain relative distances and direction between various points.
