Program and Planning Analyst – Senior

Assist with the development and lead the implementation of performance measures of the National Coastal Management Performance Measurement System. Assist in the management of the Wisconsin Coastal Nonpoint Pollution Control Program and the Great Lakes Education grant program area. Staff the Wisconsin Coastal Management Council, including meeting logistics; assisting in their training on emerging issues and supporting their own outreach efforts. Assist in the overall administration and implementation of the WCMP, including request for proposals development, contract monitoring, progress report development, routine program changes, development, etc. Monitor, research and analyze federal and state agency policy and implementation procedures; identify conflicting and/or duplicating policies, programs and gaps in authority. Analyze state and federal legislation and policies affecting the coastal area of Wisconsin. Develop technical and policy information and make presentations to the Wisconsin Coastal Management Council. The WCMP is a federally-funded, state administered program that analyzes and develops state policy on a wide range of Great Lakes issues and coordinates the many governmental programs that affect the coast.
