The Aerial Triangulation Specialist is responsible for organizing and performing aerial triangulation on multiple large production projects in our commercial division. Position requires an individual with superior organizational, trouble-shooting, and written and oral communication skills. The primary responsibility of this position is aerial triangulation, but other tasks may include stereocompilation, LiDAR processing, client management, scheduling, and project estimating.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of extensive aerial triangulation experience with at least 3 years of that experience utilizing ISAT
- Ability and experience in translating various AT solutions from one software into ISAT; for example Orima to ISAT, PATB to ISAT, and familiarity with other AT packages such as MatchAT, PATB, and Bingo
- Experience in working with ABGPS/IMU data as well as multiple digital and film camera systems
- Proficiency in softcopy photogrammetric compilation
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and function in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop project tracking workflows to ensure that projects can and will be completed within deadlines
- Assist in the development of technical approaches and cost estimates with help from senior staff
- Review completed projects for compliance to design standards and contract requirements
Other Preferred Experience and Skills
- ASPRS Certified Photogrammetrist
- Knowledge of Summit and/or Intergraph geospatial software suites
- Knowledge of GeoCue and LiDAR processing
- Experience in flight mission planning, utilizing TRACKER software
