BSA/LB&B Joint Venture has a long-term contract at Fort McCoy in central Wisconsin and is seeking a:GIS ANALYSTResponsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of applications. Duties include performing data analysis and creation of various maps for incorporation into reports and or presentations. This position requires proficiency in GIS, understanding of CADD and requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. A minimum of 4 plus years practical experience with ArcGIS, (and or ArcView 3.x) MicroStation and AutoCAD is required. GIS and CADD experience in the areas of environmental management is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Access and ESRI’s ArcInfo, ArcIMS, ArcSDE, Spatial Analyst, and or 3D Analyst and knowledge of Spartial Data standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) is a plus.Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of applications. Experience with Microsoft Access and ESRI’s ArcInfo, ArcIMS, ArcSDE, Spatial Analyst, and or 3D Analyst and knowledge of Spartial Data standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) is a plus.Responsibilities include the following: – Create hard copy maps (print and plot) for distribution.- Develop CADD and GIS projects consisting of vector, raster, and tabular data.- Perform data and spatial queries and analysis as required.- Use database software to update, edit, and extract tabular data for integration into CADD or GIS.Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Engineering preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 2 plus years of experience in developing and utilizing CADD and GIS software is required. Advanced AutoCAD and ArcView GIS certification preferred.
