Survey & Mapping Specialist

Dodge County’s Land Resources and Parks Dept, located in Juneau, WI, has an IMMEDIATE opening for Survey & Mapping Specialist. Under the general direction of the Director, is responsible for field and office support of survey functions and tax parcel mapping activities for the County, and provides limited technical GIS/LIS services and support to the Land Resources and Parks Department, associated Dodge County departments and other clientele served by the Land Resources and Parks Department. Four (4) year Bachelor’s degree in land surveying, mathematics, geography, cartography or related field. Minimum of one (1) year working knowledge of and practical experience with GPS survey equipment and software, CAD software, and GIS software (experience with LEICA equipment and software, LISCAD, Autodesk, and ESRI GIS software currently used by the Land Resources and Parks Department preferred). Equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered. Prefer Registered Land Surveyor.
