We are looking for a confident, well-organized person to join our sales team full-time. Essential duties include client/prospect interaction, management of sales proposals and correspondence, participation in the development of new sales strategies and the development of VAR relationships with key data providers. Various other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, understanding all products, programs and customer groups, maintenance of sales resources/databases, reporting and sales forecasting.Ideal candidate will be multi-task oriented with thorough understanding of mainstream desktop mapping systems, mapping concepts and GIS principles. Solid written and verbal communication skills, strong prospecting skills and a good comfort level with group presentations along with a “whatever it takes” attitude are a must!Geography or related degree from four-year college or university with three to five years proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably B2B.Please send cover letter and resume to steveg@rockfordmap.com.
