This position is responsible for managing MGP client programs including the GIS Consortium, its Board of Directors, and its member programs. The candidate will manage existing programs, identify new opportunities for our clients, manage the developer and client coordinator activities, and report directly to the principle of the company. The successful candidate must be a service-oriented individual that puts the success of others first.
EDUCATION
– Degree in Information systems, Geography, GIS, or equivalent applied experience.
EXPERIENCE
– 5-years of work experience in capacity related to this position
– Local government experience is required
– GIS technologies experience is required
– Management of development and GIS professional staff preferred
– Project management experience preferredSKILLS
– Ability to facilitate meetings
– Strong organization skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Detail oriented individual
– Positive leadership
– Ability to articulate complex solutions
– Team orientation
– Microsoft Office™ including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
– Microsoft Project™ experience preferred
