The USGS are looking for a Biologist to join their ranks.
As a Biologist within the U.S. Geological Survey, Upper Midwest Environmental Science Center, some of your specific duties will include:
- Plan and conduct studies and investigations of bird use of airspace and landscapes.
- Devise strategies and plans to overcome significant logistical and resource problems related to investigations of bird airspace and landscape use related to wind energy development.
- Develop plans for field studies involving radar and other techniques.
- Develop and maintain computer databases in conjunction with data analyses.
- Operate a government owned vehicle and a small motor boat as an incidental driver.
