Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in geography, cartography, photogrammetry, or a related discipline. A minimum of 4 years of experience in photogrammetry, digital mapping, or remote sensing is required. A minimum of two years of experience in project management, client maintenance, and project development is also required. Certified Photogrammetrist, ASPRS is desired but not required. Strong business development skills will be essential, as the successful applicant will have substantial responsibility for developing and managing projects across the United States. Experience with specialized industries including energy, mining, environmental, and engineering is a plus. Candidates must have prior experience in developing and maintaining client relationships both in private and government sectors. Successful candidate will perform region-wide business development activities. Office location may be negotiable.
Responsilbites:
This position requires maintaining awareness of opportunities through personal calling efforts, referrals, pertinent publications, and other networking techniques. Will maintain and develop client contacts and promote new projects. Assists in the development and preparation of cost estimates and written project proposals. Attends selection interviews and participates in presentation of company qualifications. Assists in the preparation of contract documents. Provides technical guidance on problems and projects. Confirms that the quality of the work being performed by project team members conforms to the agreed upon quality standards.
