Integrated Training Area Management Program Coordinator

Provide full-time, onsite support to a garrison training division as the primary advisor for an Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) program. Work with military units, trainers, and environmental staff in order to integrate readiness and sustainability requirements related to DoD training lands. Support a variety of program management elements, including work plan analysis, land rehabilitation and maintenance (LRAM), training requirements integration (TRI), ITAM GIS database, and sustainable range awareness (SRA). Develop short- and mid-term plans and resource requirements, design and supervise land rehabilitation and repair projects, provide land use recommendations to garrison leadership and staff, develop and distribute range and environmental awareness materials and programs, and oversee the GIS support to training land management. This position is located at Ft. McCoy, WI.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience as a task or project manager in environmental, engineering, or a similar military-related field-2+ years of experience in working with data collection and analysis-2+ years of experience with developing mid- to long-range plans and budgets-Knowledge of military training processes and procedures-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-HS diploma or GED required

Additional Qualifications:-Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) preferred
-Ability to oversee and understand training requirements and ecological systems modeling preferred-Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills
-BA or BS degree preferred
