The Bayfield County Land Records Department through GeminiCares, Inc. is seeking a limited term employee for 2012. Office functions include GIS, Tax listing and Surveying. Work under the direction of the Land and Records Administrator and assist in creating geographic information systems (GIS) layers for Bayfield County as well as updating existing data layers. GIS experience is preferred.
Qualification requirements for this position:
• Enrolled or graduate of bachelor or associate degree program or higher in geography, land records, geology, natural resources or related field.
• Have cartographic skills and ability to interpret aerial photography.
• Use and interpretation of a variety of maps.
• Experience with ArcGIS 10.0 SP4 software.
• Be able to work independently, meet deadlines and have good oral and written communication skills.
• Be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Have valid Wisconsin driver’s license
