Continental Properties Company, Inc. is looking for the absolute best and brightest to join our team of dedicated professionals as a GIS Intern for the 2012 fall semester at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. This position works directly with our Director of Market Research on a wide range of site and market research related research projects.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare and update maps for both retail and multifamily development projects (e.g., demographics, employers, retail locations, and apartments).
- Prepare, geocode, and update a variety of datasets
- Prepare aerial photo and vicinity maps.
- Create and update Google Earth layers.
- Identify and map second-generation (vacant) retail locations.
What we need:
- Experience with ArcGIS is required.
- Experience with Business Analyst preferred.
- Able to work 20 hours per week during the school year.
- Ability to learn quickly and take direction/instruction.
- Strong work ethic and an unmatched attention to detail.
