More Information: Position Description

Serves as the Project Manager for assigned company projects. Coordinates all aspects of project scheduling, data collection, and data delivery. Ensures project timelines, data quality, and budget requirements meet customer needs and company objectives. Represents the company as a Project Manager and works closely with the customer and Project Director to ensure customer satisfaction.

Project Setup and Scheduling

  • Coordinates project schedule and setup both within Roadview and with the outside customer
  • Works with Resource and Project Directors to identify and procure appropriate project resources
  • Ensures project is set up according to contract requirements
  • Generates work-plan document
  • Works with Resource Director to create project budget

Project

  • Provides daily project oversight
  •  Ensures project is conducted according to contract requirements
  • Maintains, tracks, and modifies project budget
  • Troubleshoots project-related issues to ensure customer satisfaction as well as project timeline and  quality adherence
  • Proposes project schedule modifications as needed
  • Makes and carrys out project-related decisions
  • Maintains effective communication with customers to keep them up to date on project activities and  issues
  • Ensures standardization and process adherence
  • Tracks and reports key result indicators for project

Project Deliverables

  • Delivers data per project timelines and customer requirements
  • Ensures completion of quality control audit on project deliverables
  • Owns customer invoicing on a project level
  • Plans, schedules, and oversees activities related to data collection
  • Coordinates data collection activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of staffing,
  • equipment and materials
  • Works with Resource Director to ensure quality control of processes and procedures

Procedures

  • Creates project-specific procedures using master templates
  • Works with Project Director to create project specific collection, processing, quality assurance, and auditing procedures

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Proficient in MS Office. Ability to obtain an advanced understanding of RV Workstation, Arc Map, Arc View, MS Access, POSPAC, and any necessary custom processing applications within a 3 months of start date.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree Required; Civil Engineering, GIS, or Project Management preferred.
