POSITION SUMMARY

The Land Protection Assistant position will research land files on tracks to be transferred to conservation partners. This will include pulling and scanning deeds, title insurance policies, state & federal contracts and other information and maintaining a spreadsheet to track research progress. This position will also provide information to landowners seeking Conservancy advice about how to protect their land or land in their communities. Duties may also include locating historic aerial photos from the State Map Library for use in environmental assessments and compiling supporting documentation for land appraisal and survey requests. |
