Hourly Rate: $12.000 per hour.
Duration: Job starts approximately February 4, 2013
Job Description: 60% Water Use Data Management – Manage Water Use reporting data by using web-based applications and spatial management software as needed. Enter data into the Water Use web-based system. 20% Water Use Data Coordination – Receive and document information from property owners that withdrew water in 2012 during the Water Use reporting period (January – April 2013). Review water use report information to ensure completeness. Work with other staff to follow up on any missing information. 15% Organize, collate, scan and/or file Water Use reporting materials. 5% General support to Water Use Program staff.
Knowledge Required: General knowledge of surface and groundwater withdrawals in Wisconsin. Previous experience using web-based systems (or other databases), Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Geographical Information Systems, is highly desired. An ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and public is needed. Good organizational, number and recording skills are required.
