Your Duties:  

Responsibilities:

• Creating maps and performing a wide range of geospatial analyses in support of the environmental permitting associated with major infrastructure projects.
• Manage wide variety of project-specific and reference geospatial data.
• Update and maintain mapping standards and work processes.
• Review map-products of junior-level staff for accuracy.

Your Capabilities and Credentials:

Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree in environmental science or planning with a demonstrated emphasis in GIS
• 5-10 experience building and maintaining a GIS for the environmental permitting associated with major infrastructure projects
• Experience editing and managing data in ArcSDE
• Experience in designing web mapping sites using ArcServer and Latitude Geographics GeoCortex Viewer for Silverlight
• Extensive experience working for or with public or private utilities
• Ability to occasionally travel overnight
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills, and be customer focused to understand and appropriately respond to clients business needs
• Demonstrated ability to motivate self and others to overcome obstacles and achieve goals
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and to prioritize and balance sometime heavy workloads to achieve goals while keeping up with a highly mobile and changing environment
• Team player with demonstrated ability to work well with others, to keep other team members aware of project and client needs
