Job Duties:
This position will provide professional and technical assistance related to geographic information system data maintenance and development and surveying to the Land Information Program Manager, County Surveyor, Conservation Specialist and other department staff. This includes creating, compiling and maintaining data necessary for the implementation and support of the County’s geographic information system and assisting in the acquisition and maintenance of surveying data. All duties and responsibilities are performed under the direction and guidance of the Land Information Program Manager and the County Surveyor.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Associate degree from 4-year college or technical college in geography, geographic information systems, surveying, civil engineering, and/or a natural resources field. Experience with total stations, levels, data collectors, GPS equipment and software such as AutoDesk and ESRI is desired. Must have a valid Wisconsin Driver’s license, proof of insurance that satisfies Lincoln County requirements and a good driving record.
