Responsible for updating and maintaining a wide variety of spatial data sets of the Town-wide Geographic Information Systems. Conducts research, gathers data, and analyzes complex data to provide accurate, reliable, and critical GIS information to Town departments.
Requires Bachelor’s Degrees in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, Surveying, or related field. Minimum of three (3) years of progressive professional GIS experience. Thorough knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Desktop and Trimble GeoXH data collection.
Expertise of ArcGIS Online and the Local Government Data Model is preferred. Experience with PipeTech software and erosion control inspections is beneficial. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when editing GIS data as well as strong technical skills and the ability to problem solve independently with efficiency are required.
