Position Description:

Harley-Davidson is seeking a Location Analytics Project Manager Juneau Avenue Corporate Office located in Milwaukee, WI.  

Supporting our entire organization, this position is responsible for managing projects that integrate data from disparate data sources that identify challenges, opportunities, and implications for achieving H-D business goals within local and regional markets. This Project Manager will work be providing leadership in pushing the limits of Geographic Information System (GIS) technology application to better understand the spatial relationship of consumer (location, purchases and experiences), dealer (location and performance) and local market indicators (external data) impact on local market and H-D Motor Company performance.

This position is responsible for the developing clear and concise communication based on derived insights for Consumer Insight and Analytics (CIA) leadership as well as all levels of the organization. They will also lead integration of learning and presentation to all levels within the organization.

 

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
    • Preferred fields of study are: GIS, Science, Technology, Finance, Economics, Math, Business Administration, Marketing, or Market Research.
  • Master’s Degree is preferred


Experience Required:
5+ years of business analysis experience relating to consumer, market, retail, location / site selections analytics – preferably with a major retailer / consumer brand which should include:

  • Advanced GIS, web GIS and BI capabilities
  • Experience in applying spatial statistics to problem solving
  • Expertise in database query, data aggregation and analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in integrating disparate sources of data to test hypotheses that inform change
  • Experience with advanced analytics application (modeling, leveraging bid data, etc.) in problem solving

 

Ideal candidate will also have:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong presentation skills with experience across a spectrum of stakeholder audiences
  • Ability to influence across the organization at multiple levels and build collaborative, productive relationships with internal business partners and external vendors
  • Global perspective and understanding, thinking across borders and cultures
  • Experience providing direction in bringing emerging big data applications to the business
  • Demonstrated project management experience
