Planner

We are a progressive, full-service consulting engineering and planning firm seeking an experienced Planner in our Milwaukee Office to focus on economic development and real estate development.

The following qualifications are preferred:

• A professional Master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Economics, Real Estate, or a comparable field, and a minimum of 2 years of experience working with public and/or private sector partners. 
• Experience with project management and public presentations is desired, along with a track record in conducting market analyses, providing economic development strategies, and facilitating property and business development. 
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk, Sketchup, or GIS software is desired. 
• Candidate must demonstrate a creative, collaborative approach and versatility in working on a range of projects nationally or internationally.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist with the management and procurement of regional opportunities in planning and land development
• Promote a culture of quality service and client relations
• Manage existing relationships and build new relationships among clients and partners
• Provide market research and analysis for complex planning projects
• Prepare plan documents, research reports, and marketing pieces
• Seek partnership opportunities, prepare scopes, budgets and schedules for RFP/RFQ responses, and support interview preparation
• Enhance firm reputation through innovative approaches to projects and endeavors
