Alliant Energy is recruiting for an intern who would work with the IT GIS Support Department. This position will be throughout the 2016 summer working Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM at our corporate headquarters in Madison, WI.
Alliant Energy is seeking a dynamic, self-starter and go-getter to join our team. As a GIS Analyst Intern, you will be assisting more experienced GIS Analysts with refining maps, testing, assisting customers and other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems or related technology major are encouraged to apply
- Pays close attention to detail
- Ability to listen to customers and ask questions to appropriately meet their needs
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Capable of working independently
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse work environment
