Senior Content Sourcing Analyst

Summary of Job

• Conduct content acquisition activity for a defined area
• Engages with both government and commercial organizations in finding, qualifying, and obtaining a variety of different types of geospatial datasets that meet the objectives of HERE
• Coordinate with other teams on source evaluation

Main Responsibilities

• Actively pursues suppliers of geospatial data, arranges meetings, presentations and follows up with suppliers
• Conducts preliminary source evaluation
• Negotiate commercial and legal terms to acquire datasets
• Eecute all required contracts and purchase orders and obtains dataset
• Conducts market research to identify possible data suppliers
• Execute administration related to supplier management
• Coordinate with other teams to conduct initial supplier data evaluation to ingest data in order to build or enhance HERE’s offerings
• Create and regularly update supplier inventory and profile including key information related to the supplier relationship
• Consolidate communication and collateral requirement from sourcing team and work with Product Marketing and Product Management to create the respective support material (e.g. presentations, demos, proof points, phone scripts)
• Create and maintain communication master file per content category and industry that consolidates best practice for key arguments, objections and answers

Position Requirements

• 5+ years relevant experience
• Bachelor degree (preferred technical or business degree)
• Experience in business development, procurement and supply chain
• Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Convincing and persuasive door opener mentality
• Knowledge and/or understanding of Maps and Location-Based service
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter with ability to operate independently in support of the larger team’s goals
• Result-oriented
• Willingness to learn
• Working experience with vendor management software
• Ability to gather and analyze data, problem solve, prioritize and organize to achieve stated goals
