Summer Intern – Environmental

Tetra Tech, Inc. is looking for a Summer Intern – Environmental. Candidate local to the eastern Wisconsin area to be able to spend non-field days in the Sheboygan, WI office.

Education & Experience: 

• Studies in environmental subjects required
• Soil science a plus 
• Biology background a plus
• No allotment for travel or moving 
• Full time summer hourly position with opportunity to work overtime 
• Travel outside of Wisconsin required 
• GIS background required 
• Attending a 40 hour Hazwoper training required
• Work from mid-May to mid-August a plus

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct field work tasks as needed but could include; GPS technician, soil sampling, sediment sampling, site cleanup, work on boats, hiking in steep mountain terrain, wetland delineations, GIS mapping and table production, tech memo preparation and report writing.
• Physical outdoor work is primary task
