Job Description:
The Planning & Conservation Department has an opening for one (1) Long-Term Limited-Term Employee. This is a part-time, 30 hour per week position with a starting salary of $12.00/hr – $15.00/hr depending on experience. It is expected this position will last approximately one year.
Job Purpose & Summary:
Duties include but are not limited to indexing county surveys to be included in a spatially searchable manner. Scanning and geo-referencing existing paper drain tile maps and mapping them in GIS may also be required. The ability to lift 25 pounds, knowledge of ESRI’s suite of GIS software and Microsoft’s suite of tools are required. Comprehending legal descriptions is helpful, and basic property description interpretation skills will be considered an advantage.
