LiDAR Data Processor

The Lidar Data Processor is a regular full-time position that will extract data, usually supplied from a mobile Lidar unit and create undefined deliverables individually or as part of a team. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.  

• Process LIDAR data using third party and proprietary software
• Identify various types features and associated data from image examples
• Understand and utilize basic math
• Follow written and spoken instructions
• Operate as part of a team

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Working knowledge of ArcMap (preferred but not required)
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Working knowledge of Google Earth
• Good verbal and written skills

Experience & Education

• Two (2) years’ experience minimum in the GIS field.
• Bachelors or Associate degree in Geography preferred
