Graphic Information Systems Manager

Job Description:

Ecolab is seeking a Graphic Information Systems Manager to support our Institutional business partners in sales, marketing, finance, and others by using a variety of internal and external information sources to solve business needs. A successful candidate will have the right blend of analytic intuition, GIS expertise, business acumen, and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create territory optimizations using multiple criteria, routing models, and perform other spatial analyses
• Use coding, geospatial, statistical, and predictive modeling expertise to identify opportunities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide GIS analysis to support their business needs
• Provide detail and summary reporting on global GIS analytics
• Develop new data analysis and visualizations using GIS and partnering with the Business Intelligence group and their respective tools to summarize information and provide the business with geographic data driven insights
• Assist business partners and users in understanding GIS information
• Document methodologies used in the execution of requests and standard reporting
• Additional responsibilities include:
• Maintain business process guidelines among 25 field offices and staff
• Manage $250,000+ budget for field/corporate computer hardware needs and maintains procurement lifecycle for the Division
• Manage the relationship with preferred uniform vendor and oversee inventory controls for the Division
• This position serves as liaison between multiple corporate leaders and functions, field support offices and field management

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, GIS, or related field
• 6+ years of professional work experience with increasing levels of responsibility
• 10+ years’ experience in logistics/territory planning
• 3+ years’ experience in strategic planning and analysis roles
• 2+ years of experience working with GIS systems (ESRI ArcGIS, ArcMap, ArcEditor, Business Analyst, Network Analyst) and related languages (SQL, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) or similar

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Solid time and project management skills
• Possess and demonstrate expert knowledge in supporting a large / remote sales and service organization
