Free ESRI Seminar on How to Improve Access to GIS

ESRI is offering a free GIS seminar in Madison on October 13, 2011.  “Extend the Reach of Your GIS” is intended to teach GIS professionals how to expand the access to their authoritative maps and geospatial information.

SCO conducting pilot project to develop a more accurate statewide Public Land Survey System dataset

The SCO is conducting a pilot study during 2011 – 2012 which will develop and test data integration methods for statewide production of contemporary PLSS data.  This project will consolidate local data into a single dataset using more accurate local data where available.
