Consultants in PwC’s GIS (Geographic Information System) Practice serve clients seeking to leverage their GIS to solve industry problems, whether Power and Utilities, Pipeline, or even Real Estate and consumer areas.

Consultants deliver projects through requirements gathering, testing, training, problem solving, implementing solutions, and documenting activities.

Position/Program Requirements

  • Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 7
  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree
  • Degree Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in engineering, information systems, or geography from a nationally recognized higher-level institution.
  • Certification(s) Preferred: include Certification in ESRI ArcGIS and/or GIS-P Certification.

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas:

– Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation;

– Answering questions and providing direction to less-experienced staff;

– Coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback;

– Leveraging knowledge of GIS platforms, data management, and IT networks and how they serve businesses at the enterprise level;

– Utilizing technical, functional, interpersonal, and customer facing skills to build client relationships and deliver on value propositions; and,

– Applying GIS analysis, GIS mapping, and GIS technical skills and knowledge in new innovative ways.
