Job Summary:
State Farm is currently searching for an intern to participate in a case study investigating the correlation of radar-based hail estimates and claims severity and densities. The student would also have the opportunity to participate with SF TRAIL and IBHS staff in the 2018 IBHS Characteristics of Hailstorms Field Research Project.
Duties & Qualifications:
- Professional level training in an insurance organization and exposure to State Farm culture and opportunities
- Must be a college student
- Bi-lingual (in positions where there is a need)
- Completes training on workstations and job/department specific applications
- Demonstrates effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers
- Demonstrates the ability to effectively analyze and evaluate professional level work within the assigned department
- Work on special projects as assigned by the supervisor
- Ability to work in a team environment
