Job Summary:
Crow Wing Power is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of GIS Technician. This position is responsible for a wide variety of functions and services, which require advanced knowledge, experience, and training related to Geographic Information System (GIS) and Global Positioning System (GPS) in support of the cooperative’s goal and objectives. Daily tasks to be guided by the GIS System Administrator.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid driver’s license in the state of Minnesota
- Take initiative of projects and hold one’s self accountable for workload with minimal supervision
- Deal with stresses related to work events
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma required and four-year bachelor’s degree in Geographical Information Systems degree required
- Electrical background experience preferred
