Job Summary:
This project will involve creating an ArcGIS Online map, testing the map and changing the map based on the feedback of County Personnel. Once the map is finalized, training will be needed to County Personnel to use Collector to edit the data in the map.
Duties:
- Create and publish a map on ArcGIS Online that the Highway Department can use to edit their bridges, culverts, guardrails and signs data layers.
- Test the published map using Collector to edit features.
- Provide a demonstration of the map on the Collector App to the GIS Coordinator and Highway Commissioner and adjust the map based on Feedback.
- Set up 4 ArcGIS online accounts.
- Train Highway Department personnel how to use Collector to edit the data layers.
- Provide updates upon request of GIS Coordinator.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED is required.
- Completion of college level course in GIS with training in ArcGIS
online and Collector setup and use. - Ability to demonstrate knowledge using ArcGIS online, ERSI
