Job Summary:

The Geospatial Analyst II (Stereo/3D production) is a full time position located in Sun Prairie WI compiling stereo terrain data and preparing it for our clients. This position is the foundation of our production staff with a significant portion of project requirements being fulfilled by this position. The Geospatial Analyst II will be producing HRTe (High Resolution Terrain Editing / Stereo compiling) data and products in accordance with customer’s requirements to be completed on time and within budget. While working on assigned projects the Geospatial Analyst II will work closely with the Project Lead and Project Quality Control staff, reporting current status, any quality concerns and address other project related items. The Geospatial Analyst II could perform 3D/Stereo/HRTe QC duties at the discretion of the Project Lead and/or QC Lead of a particular project and is required to learn the tools needed to complete assigned tasks and demonstrates a willingness to improve their workflow and quality. Applicants with an active Federal Government security clearance are preferred. Applicants who are eligible to be cleared for a security clearance or have a clearance that can be reinstated upon hire will be considered.

Duties:

  • Extract feature and/or terrain (3D) data from a variety of sources
  • Assist in work procedures/checklist updates and/or creation
  • Assist the project lead(s) with project scheduling, where necessary, as well as update project status
  • Perform product finishing tasks to client content and quality specifications
  • Conducts quality control reviews of data and provides feedback
  • Conduct peer review/feedback of data prior to QC where applicable
  • May participate in training of co-workers
  • Awareness, adherence, and enforcement of corporate policies and
  • Engage in positive public activities that tie Continental to the public
  • Promote positive atmosphere internally
  • Must be able to maintain security clearance status

Other Responsibilities:

  • Shares best practices with other employees
  • Implements guidance adjustment information given by project lead

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent stereographic vision
  • Demonstrated experience with Socet Set, Microstation (or equivalent) for stereo compilation
  • Strong understanding of spatial relationships in the real world and databases

Experience and Education:

  • BS/BA Degree in a Scientific or Technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and
  • Minimum of two (2) year of experience with 3D stereo complication
  • Must have extensive experience with stereo tool sets, example – Microstation, Socet Set 4, 5.6, GXP including extensions.
  • Desired experience with DoD geospatial stereo data manipulation, specifically dealing with HRTe
